MediClick is clinic software. It runs a doctor’s public website, booking, patient portal, consultations and billing in one place. Each clinic gets its own subdomain, its own data and its own audit trail — and the doctor never has to leave the app to see them.

What the service does

• A public website and online booking for each clinic, under its own address.
• A patient portal for appointments, prescriptions, reports and records.
• In-clinic and video consultations, with prescriptions and billing in the same record.
• Staff accounts with role-based access and an audit trail, per clinic.

Clinical care is provided by the doctor, clinic or healthcare establishment you choose. MediClick is the software they use; it does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or advice, and it is not an emergency service. If you need urgent medical attention, contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital.

Email we send, and who receives it

MediClick sends one-to-one transactional email only. We do not send marketing or bulk email, and we do not sell or share email addresses for advertising. Every recipient has an existing relationship with the clinic that triggers the message. Specifically:

• Verification codes and password resets — sent only when the account holder asks for them.
• Staff invitations — sent when a clinic administrator invites that person to join their clinic, to the address the administrator entered.
• Appointment email — confirmation, reschedule, cancellation and reminders, sent to the patient who booked that appointment.

Addresses come from one of two places: the patient enters their own when booking or registering, or a clinic administrator enters a colleague’s when inviting them to that clinic’s staff. We do not buy, scrape or import address lists.

Privacy

MediClick processes personal data to create and manage accounts, verify identity, help patients find doctors and clinics, book and manage appointments, enable in-clinic and remote consultations, send the transactional messages listed above, process payments where enabled, provide support, and maintain security and legally required records.

When you choose a doctor or clinic and book, the information needed to provide that service is shared with that provider. We may also use technology, cloud, communication, payment and security service providers, and may disclose information where legally required. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

Safeguards include access controls, role-based permissions, tenant isolation between clinics, encryption where appropriate, logging and audit trails, and monitoring. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please protect your own devices, credentials and one-time codes.

Personal data is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and to meet healthcare-record, contractual, legal, audit and dispute-resolution obligations. Subject to applicable law you may ask about the processing of your data, ask for corrections, ask for erasure where legally permitted, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, and raise a grievance. Some information cannot be deleted immediately where retention is legally required.

Because verification codes, booking confirmations and similar messages are needed to deliver a service you asked for, you cannot opt out of them while using that service. Promotional email is not sent today; if it is ever introduced it will be handled separately with its own consent and opt-out.
